The rice moisture meter we developed here in the Garten can run directly on the grain dryer, in the processing industry or in the laboratory. The flow moisture sensor is manufactured in southern Germany according to thewith our specifications, to be used in low grain moisture. The minimum measured value is 10% (full scale). The maximum can reach 30%.In comparative tests with laboratory meters we found a reading variation of 0.4%.Laboratory meters have a reading error of +/- 0.2%. In this way, the values ??that we obtain of 0.4% are excellent, due to the fact that we read the humidity of the cereal directly inside the dryer, without interference from the external environment. We know that collecting a sample in the dryer and taking it to the meter in the operator's room will generate an error in the loss of humidity and ventilation with ambient air. Therefore the values ??read with 0.2% of error do not take into account the actual value that the product was inside the dryer. The GARTEN humidity meter has a PLC (Logical Process Controller), which performs a series of calculations, including the correction of cereal temperature, humidity of the cereal and ambient temperature.Just so, considering the hygroscopic balance of the grain is that we can ensure a reliable, accurate moisture measurement and based on drying technology and grain conservation. It is very easy to operate and fully automatic. If integrated in our dryer control systems, the readings will be taken automatically and the evolution of drying will be monitored, with variable time intervals according to the humidity of the cereal. If it is being operated in the laboratory, it is enough to push a button and the equipment will receive the product, will read and it will deliver the real value.
For installation of this equipment it is necessary electric power 110/220 volts and compressed air.
