The PressKon was developed to automatically control the rice discharge in polishers and whiteners, ensuring constant pressure and precise adjustment during the whitening and polishing process. The equipment uses a mobile device coupled to the shaft of the machine’s original weights; these weights are moved by a 12 V DC electric motor, adjusting the required pressure according to predefined parameters. This dynamic adjustment maintains stable rice flow and uniform final product quality.
The control reference is the electric power drawn by the machine’s motor. For this, PressKon operates together with a control box that monitors this power and sends commands to the device to advance or retract the weights as needed. This box is equipped with a touchscreen HMI that allows viewing the operation, operating the equipment, and monitoring limit switches. Control is performed by an integrated PLC, ensuring precision, safety, and fast response to process variations.
In addition to local control, the box includes an Ethernet output for integration with supervisory systems, databases, and corporate platforms. PressKon can be applied individually or in groups of up to four units per control box, depending on the project and plant layout. It is a robust industrial solution designed to maintain consistent whitening and polishing, reduce manual intervention, and enhance the operational performance of the processing machines.
