The Temp-Server is a monitoring system designed to measure the temperature at multiple points within a server environment, ensuring safe operation and protection against overheating. Multiple digital sensors can be installed —one on each piece of equipment— all individually identified and named. The user sets the maximum temperature limit for each unit, and whenever any sensor exceeds that value, the system automatically sends an alert email containing the equipment name, the recorded temperature, the date, and the time. If the critical condition persists, new warnings are resent until the temperature returns to an acceptable level.
Data acquisition is performed by a dedicated board that stores the readings in the cloud or on a local server. Access to the information is done through a web page that displays all monitored temperatures in real time and allows configuration of each system parameter. Temp-Server provides continuous monitoring, automatic notifications, and a simple interface, ensuring full thermal control of servers and preventing failures that could compromise infrastructure performance.
